We are out of stock right now, waiting for more from our manufacturer, estimated ETA is mid-March We had these tanks custom made for us for our Ibex chassis kits but they work well in many other applications. Some of the key design features are:
- The tanks are 18 gallon capacity and are 26-3/4 x 11-5/8 x 14" tall
- Rotomolded from Cross Linked Polyethylene just like OEM fuel tanks, a full .25" thickness
- Integration of an OEM GM truck in tank fuel pump. A simple, cheap and extremely effective way to power your GM LS vortec engine. It uses a stock Fuel pump sending unit from a 99-03 GM 1500 truck. We recommend spending the extra money on a genuine AC Delco sending unit, MU1614
- Blind threaded inserts and O-ring to mount a standard 24 bolt oval fill plate, the easiest and cleaned fill plate mount!

We have developed a new chassis kit built around an LJ tub. The concept is to build a all-out no compromise buggy that will use TJ/LJ doors, windshield, Top etc. This will be full enclosed with functional doors and a top and all the amenities of a TJ jeep. You will need to cut up a TJ/LJ tub and use the cowl, door surrounds, tub top rail and tail gate surround. You dont need an actual LJ tub, a TJ tub will work, but you will need some short pieces of the rear top rail for the soft top to attach. You would also use the windshield, tailgate, hood and grill. We have fiberglass cowls, hood and grills available. Our initial design is based on an LJ tub length with 111" wheel base. This uses the same proven suspension geometry with the subframe and all the suspension brackets we use on our Ibex buggy kits. The rear suspension uses 36" trailing arms in either a single or dual shock configuration. The 111" wheel base version is able to use a factory TJ gas tank behind the rear axle, we have a mounting skidplate and mounting brackets available. We have also developed a 115" wheel base version which moves the axle back 4" using 40" trailing arms. A stock TJ gas tank does not fit, but our 18 gallon Ibex tank does fit. The main frame is constructed of 2 x 3 x .120 steel tube, rocker tubes are 2 x 3x .188 steel tube, the rear fenders are 2 x 2 x .120 tube and the main cage is 2 x .120 DOM tube. The front tubes and other tubes shown in grey are 1-3/4 x .120 DOM. This will be be a full CNC cut and mandrel bent weld it yourself kit, or we can weld it for you. We plan on making optional rear configurations that are TJ tub length and a comp cut version, but that will not fit a full top. Chassis will via LTL freight, typical cost is $400 to a commercial address with a loading doc, forklift or pick up at the local terminal.
